Exhibits - 2007

Remember how simple life used to be?

Do you remember the days of languishing on the front porch, the excitement of stopping by the auto dealership to look at the new cars, trips to the local gas station, the comfort food at the local cafe? Experience those days again as LPC FFA Historical and Ag Museum presents its third season "THE WAY WE WERE". This season will mark the grand opening of the lower level, an additional 4000 square feet of displays.

Return to simpler times.... experience THE WAY WE WERE.

Exhibits on display vary, not all exhibits are on display at all times

La Porte-Dysart FFA members conducted a summer enrichment class coordinated by the Union Community Schools. It was called "Down on the Farm" and featured the new agricultural exhibit area on the lower level of the museum. 20 students in grades K-2 enjoyed activities involving dairy (milking a cow and making butter) chickens (eggs and baby chicks), horses, and grain production. The morning was topped off by a filling farm dinner with all the fixings.
