April 7	Opening for the 3rd season including grand opening of 4000 sq. ft. on the lower level
May 5	Annual plant sale (flowering, vegetable, and house plants grown by local FFA) begins at 9AM

July 8	Annual Garden Walk The La Porte City FFA Historical and Ag Museum will sponsor a garden walk on Sunday, July 8^th from 12 noon – 4 pm. Come join us for an afternoon of fun and adventure. Enjoy the full bloom of some of La Porte’s unique gardens. There will be something for everyone – small space gardens, unique landscaping, cottage gardens, ornamental grasses, and ponds. The cost is $5 per person and will go to the museum for operating expenses. Questions can be directed to the museum @ 342-3619 or Sherry Sheffler @ 342-2484. The following locations will be included in this year’s tour: Peggy Fisher - 807 Madison St. Doris Wagner – 216 Case Rd. Curt & Sue Akers – 217 Case Rd. Jerry & Jan Erdahl – 300 Main St. Ron & Peggy Mangrich – 5439 E Reinbeck Rd. Oleen Arenholz – 400 Main St. (next to museum) La Porte City Museum – 408 Main St. A tour of the museum is included in your ticket price. Make sure you take time to view all of the new exhibits being displayed this year. Our theme for 2007 is “The Way We Were” and features a simpler time of life. Many displays will take you back to the 30’s – 40’s era.
